Job Title: HGV TechnicianLocation: Gravesend Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 (DOE) per annum + Overtime We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV/PSV Diagnostic Technician with proven expertise in the PSV sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing complex faults, performing advanced troubleshooting, and supporting the maintenance and repair of a modern fleet of buses to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance. What you''ll do as the HGV Technician:Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using OEM diagnostic software and tools.Use diagnostic tools to assess engine performance, brakes, transmission, electrical systems, and other vital components.Liaise with OEM technical support teams and service portals to resolve persistent or complex faults.Carry out inspections, fault finding, and repairs on diesel, hybrid, and electric-powered PSVs.Routine servicing, repair and maintenance of the modern PSV Fleet to highest DVSA standardsProvide on-site services including breakdown recovery, diagnostics, and repairs.Be available for urgent repairs as required, ensuring timely responses to minimize vehicle downtime.
