At Eutelsat Group, we''re united by inclusion and diversity, striving for gender balance and social responsibility, on Earth and in Space.Who You Are:You are the Head of Technical Accounting for the Financial Department, responsible for all the accounting operations.What You''ll Do:Technical accounting expert within the Group

Serve as the subject matter expert within the Group for all accounting judgements and complexities, focusing on:

Revenue accounting applying IFRS 15 to complex customer contractsAccounting for capital projects applying IAS 16/38Accounting for the Group''s MandA activity, including acquisition accounting and accounting for divestments.

Provide accounting advisory to commercial, operational, and other teams in advance of contracts being agreed to advise on accounting implications of proposed agreements.Prepare accounting analysis to serve as the Group''s accounting papers to justify and support the Group''s accounting conclusions.

Ownership of accounting policies of the Eutelsat Group

Maintain and update the Group Consolidation ManualLead on the evaluation and assessment of the Group''s accounting policies in response to changes in accounting standards and other developments.

Managing and working effectively with external advisors and auditors

Proactively manage external auditors (including where relevant across the Group''s global jurisdictions).Manage and work productively with the Group''s external advisors where relevant.

Contribute to the production of the Group''s external reporting, including annual and interim financial statements

Provide technical guidance on reporting requirements, including information required for disclosure in the financial statements.

What it Takes:8+ years of experience in accounting in an international environmentMaster''s degree in finance/accounting/economicsAbility to work under pressureStrong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of managementWhere You''ll Be:
