Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs£ We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN 1-1 Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time, long-term basis. This role involves working closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience and overall development. We are also offering the potential candidate a competitive pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

vandnbsp; Provide 1-1 support to an eager and enthusiastic student with autism.

vandnbsp; Assist in the implementation of a Personal Learning Plan (PLP)

vandnbsp; Support the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.

vandnbsp; Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

vandnbsp; Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure the student''s needs are met.

vandnbsp; Monitor and record the student''s progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.

Requirements:

vandnbsp; Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.

vandnbsp; A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach.

vandnbsp; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

vandnbsp; Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

vandnbsp; Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous.

vandnbsp; A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

vandnbsp; Hold a current and valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one
