Our client is an established processing and profiling business based in Yorkshire, providing a broad range of services including laser cutting, precision profiling and post-cutting / finishing. As part of continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships and help drive the commercial growth of the business. The role This would suit someone with a strong sales background within steel, metal processing, fabrication, profiling, sheet metal or a closely related engineering/manufacturing environment. The role will combine account development with proactive new business activity, working with customers across manufacturing, engineering, construction and related sectors. Key responsibilities include: Developing new business opportunities across the steel processing and fabrication market Managing and growing existing customer accounts Building relationships with engineering, manufacturing and procurement contacts Identifying opportunities across laser cutting, plasma cutting, profiling and associated services Working closely with estimating, production and operational teams to develop commercially viable solutions Preparing quotations, negotiating commercial terms and progressing opportunities through to order Building and maintaining a structured sales pipeline Developing longer-term strategic customer relationships Monitoring market activity and identifying ..... full job details .....
