This role involves serving breakfast and morning snacks, managing a tuck shop, and then transporting meals via your own car or the school mini bus between our main site in Tottenham and a satellite school location in Hornsey. Day-to-day of the role: Assist with the preparation and cooking of snacks and meals according to school menus and dietary requirements. Support the Chef Manager/Cook in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals to pupils and staff. Prepare ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food. Serve meals efficiently and professionally during breakfast, lunch, and special events. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety at all times. Wash dishes, utensils, and catering equipment, ensuring all areas are kept clean and organised. Help with stock rotation, storage, and delivery checks in accordance with food safety regulations.
