An opportunity has arisen for an Interim Director Clinical Network and Supply ChainIntegration to join a health research organisation and charity supporting large-scale medical research to improve disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment. As an Interim Director, reporting to the Chief Health Officer, you will lead the strategic development and integration of a UK-wide clinical network and supply chain, ensuring efficient service delivery. This initial 6-month contract role offers hybrid working, UK-wide travel as required, and a competitive salary with benefits. You will be responsible for: Designing an integrated network covering phlebotomy, sample transport, laboratory processing and storage. Converting recruitment targets and geographical needs into demand forecasts and capacity plans. Reviewing clinical, logistics, laboratory and storage capacity to identify gaps, risks and improvements. Developing a scalable UK-wide clinical network and assessing supplier agreements, contracts and performance. Working with procurement and commercial teams on supplier strategies, contracts and mobilisation plans. Establishing contingency plans, governance, KPIs, reporting and demand and capacity planning processes. Engaging senior stakeholders, advising executives on network design, investment, risks and supplier strategy, and developing an implementation roadmap. Perform other duties as required.
