Senior Design Engineer

Location: Camberley, Surrey

Salary: -50,000 - -59,000 + Company Car or -5,200 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a highly respected specialist contractor delivering innovative geotechnical, foundation and ground engineering solutions on major infrastructure and construction projects throughout the UK.

Known for tackling technically demanding schemes, they combine engineering excellence with cutting-edge construction techniques to deliver complex projects. The Senior Design Engineer will take a leading role in the design and technical delivery of specialist geotechnical solutions, working closely with project teams from tender stage through to construction.

• Leading the design of piled foundations, retaining structures and ground improvement schemes.
• Designing ground anchors, soil nails and other specialist geotechnical solutions.
• Reviewing and checking engineering calculations and technical reports.
• Providing technical guidance and support throughout project delivery.
• Liaising with project managers, site teams and clients to resolve engineering challenges.
• Mentoring graduate and junior engineers.
• Driving innovation and promoting best practice across the design team.

• Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Previous experience within foundation engineering, geotechnical design or specialist ground engineering.
• Strong understanding of foundation design, retaining structures and ground improvement techniques.
• Experience with PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite and AutoCAD is desirable.
• Excellent technical, communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
