This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person to join EY''s specialist Funds Tax team based in London. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work with our excellent existing clients and intermediaries, providing a great opportunity to build and expand their network and be instrumental in winning new business.We are currently looking to expand our Transaction Tax team and are keen to speak with experienced Tax advisors.Your key responsibilities

Overall responsibility for management of UK tax reporting being delivered to their client base.Management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects for their clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business focus approach takenPursuit of business development opportunities identified by other service lines at EY (e.g. through audit, corporate finance or wider tax relationships)Provision of development support to junior members of the team through effective supervision, coaching and mentoringContribution to people initiatives, including retaining and training our teamSignificant role in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff development and assignmentsSkills and attributes for success

Technical and practical knowledge and experience in advising UK and non-UK Private Equity HousesClient focused, strategically and commercially awareStrong tax technical skillsStrong client relationship management skills with ability to develop quality outputs to clientsNegotiation skillsBusiness development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell workEffective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlinesExcellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oralGood knowledge within Mergers and AcquisitionsTo qualify for the role you must have

ACA / Law qualification / Tax specialist qualification / or breadth of knowledge equivalent to a Tax specialist qualificationStrong tax technical skillsBusiness development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell workExperience of coaching and developing more junior staffKnowledge of the taxation of partnershipsIdeally you\''ll also have
