Estimator | Refurb Main Contractor | South East London

Looking to build your estimating career with a respected Main Contractor?

We''re working with an established, privately owned Main Contractor that''s continuing to grow its commercial team. Due to an increasing workload across refurbishment, fit-out and framework projects, they''re looking to recruit an Estimator or Assistant Estimator to work closely with an experienced manager, offering genuine mentorship and long-term career progression.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ideally 2-3 years'' estimating experience who''s eager to develop, take on more responsibility and become a key part of a successful business.

You''ll support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders across a wide range of projects, including:

• Commercial fit-outs
• Education projects
• Retail refurbishments
• Public sector framework works

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Producing accurate cost estimates and take-offs
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
• Assisting with tender submissions and client enquiries
• Working closely with the commercial and operational teams to secure new projects

• 2-3 years'' estimating experience with a Main Contractor
• Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
• Confident reviewing drawings and tender information
• Proactive, ambitious and keen to learn from experienced professionals
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to commute to the South East London office five days per week
