Monday - Friday PAY: £13.41 plus £4.00 daily shift bonus BENEFITS: Birthday holiday, free life assurance (2 x salary), free on site parking, dental and optical contribution, annual bonus JOB PURPOSE: The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor within the production area and will be responsible for supporting the Supervisor in continuously overseeing the efficient running of the department. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Inspect tools and equipment prior to commencement of the daily operation ensuring all are safe and undamaged in line with procedures, including completion of start-up check sheets. Resolve routine equipment/setting issues. To effectively supervise the production area in the successful achievement of the daily and weekly plans taking action on any issues. Ensure all tasks are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures, this includes the safe operation of any relevant equipment or machinery by your team and yourself. Ensure delivery of Operational KPI''s for your area e.g. plan attainment, labour, waste, food safety and quality. Identify any areas of improvement within your area. Ensure that you and staff in your area observe relevant Health and Safety standards at all times, and stop/ escalate any occasions of unsafe practice.
