An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a rapidly growing M&E contractor delivering commercial fit-out projects across London.
The company is experiencing significant year-on-year growth, currently expanding at approximately 33% annually, and is looking to strengthen its commercial team with multiple new hires.
Working on commercial fit-out projects with values of up to £10m, this role offers an attractive opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the commercial and financial aspects of M&E packages across commercial fit-out projects.
- Prepare and manage valuations, applications, payments, and variations.
- Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure commercial performance is maintained.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Assist with the procurement and negotiation of subcontract packages.
- Assess variations, change control, and additional costs.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports and financial forecasts.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Contracts Managers, and site teams.
- Maintain strong commercial relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist with final accounts and project close-out.
- Provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the construction or M&E sector.
- Strong background in commercial fit-out projects.
- Experience managing M&E packages on projects up to approximately £10m.
- Strong understanding of valuations, variations, procurement, subcontract management, and final accounts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively alongside project and site teams.
- Ambitious approach with a desire to progress into senior commercial management.
- Salary: £85,000–£100,000, depending on experience.
