Shift Engineer
You know those job ads that promise career progression without actually telling you what that looks like?This isn t one of them.If you re good at what you do, the team here will notice. That s partly because they re big on developing their own people, but mainly because you ll be sat in the middle of one of the area s largest FMCG manufacturing sites, keeping the whole thing moving. If you re useless, they ll notice that too. What you ll actually be doing: Fixing stuff before it breaks and fixing other stuff after it does. Mechanical and electrical maintenance (fault finding, sensors, motors, conveyors). Reducing downtime. Projects and continuous improvement, which is code for making things run better without being told every five minutes. Shifts: 4 on, 4 off. Two days, two nights. 12 hours. Overtime if you fancy it. What you need to bring: You ve worked as a Maintenance Engineer before. Food/FMCG background is nice, but not essential. NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Engineering.
