Production and Stores Operative / Case MakerTemporary to Permanent Immediate Start PooleAre you practical, hands-on and organised, with experience in production AND some stores or warehouse experience?We are working with a well-established packaging and manufacturing company in Poole who are looking for a Production and Stores Operative / Case Maker to join their team on a permanent basis.This is primarily a hands-on production and case-making role, with additional responsibility for supporting the stores operation.About the RoleApproximately 70% of the role will be based within production, manufacturing and assembling bespoke wooden cases and packaging.The remaining 30% will involve supporting the stores operation, assisting the existing Stores operative when they are busy or absent and helping to ensure materials and stock are organised and available for production.This is an ideal role for someone with a practical production or manufacturing background who also has previous stores or warehouse experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction and Case Making - approximately 70%Manufacturing and assembling bespoke wooden cases and cratesUsing hand and power tools to cut, shape and assemble timber componentsMeasuring, cutting and fitting wooden components accuratelyPreparing, packing, shrink-wrapping and palletising finished productsSupporting the production team with general workshop dutiesMaintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environmentStores - approximately 30%Supporting ..... full job details .....
