Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Installation Engineer / Steel Erector to join a growing specialist installation business based in Northampton. This role will involve travelling to sites across the UK to install structural steelwork, gantry systems and overhead cranes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Steel Erector looking to join a growing business, with a company van provided, regular overtime opportunities and varied installation projects across the UK.Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (40 contracted hours per week)Location: Northampton (UK-wide travel required)Responsibilities:Install and erect structural steelwork, including beams, columns, frames, supports and gantry structuresBolt, fix and secure steel sections in position, ensuring installations are completed safely and accuratelyAssist with the installation of overhead cranes and associated steel structuresRead and interpret technical drawings to ensure components are installed correctlyWork safely at height using appropriate access equipment and fall protectionWork alongside crane operators, slingers and signallers to position and install heavy steel componentsCarry out cutting and burning of steelwork where requiredFollow site safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanshipTravel to customer sites across the UK using a company vanWork as part of a small installation team to complete ..... full job details .....
