Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £54,000 + Overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) + Pension

Location: Barnsley
Shifts: Panama days and nights (2''s and 3''s) 

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is going to be any engineer’s dream to work in this state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. They have recently invested into the site and it''s a great place to work for any maintenance engineer who wants to develop their career both technically and/or into management.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Be able to fault find on a PLC as minimum
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electricall).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.

• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
