THE SCHOOL:

• This is a successful, non-selective secondary school based in St Albans.
• The Headteacher is a keen believer in investing in potential and has a strong track record of supporting graduates through teacher training programmes.
• The school caters to students aged 11-18 and offers a supportive environment for graduates looking to begin their teaching careers.

THE IDEAL GRADUATE WILL:

• Hold a degree of 2:2 or above / be graduating with a predicted 2:2 minimum
• Be subject to reference checks covering the last 2 years
• Hold a valid and up-to-date DBS
• Be able to start in September 2026 on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday

THE ROLE:

• Work throughout the school as and where required
• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis to help raise attainment
• Work closely with the SENCO, supporting the development of learning plans for SEN pupils
• Have opportunities to lead classes under the supervision of the class teacher
• Demonstrate your potential and gain valuable classroom experience, with the school willing to support you towards teacher training
