Your new company
A well-established organisation based in Watford is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis for an initial 2-month assignment. This is a busy, fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high transaction volumes.

Your new role

• Processing approximately 2,000 supplier invoices per month
• Matching, batching and coding invoices using the Coins system
• Managing a largely manual purchase ledger process
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving invoice and supplier queries
• Preparing prepayments and associated schedules
• Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
• Maintaining accurate supplier records
• Supporting month-end activities as required

What you''ll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a high-volume purchase ledger role
• Experience processing large volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
• Strong reconciliation skills
• Ability to resolve supplier queries professionally and promptly
• Experience with Coins would be highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Immediate availability
