Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE

Hill McGlynn is working in partnership with a well-established Main Contractor to recruit a highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join their growing team based in Potters Bar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in design coordination and document control to play a key role in the successful delivery of construction projects.
Overview
The Project Coordinator will support the delivery of construction projects by coordinating design information, managing documentation, and liaising with external stakeholders. Sitting within the main contractor team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of design deliverables, maintaining compliance with programme requirements, and operating robust document control systems across consultants and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track design information between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Manage and maintain document control systems, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance
- Oversee the timely issue and receipt of drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
- Ensure all project documentation aligns with programme deadlines and contractual requirements
- Support the implementation and management of Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- Liaise with project teams to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow
- Assist with reporting, audits, and general project administration
- Experience in construction or design coordination roles (main contractor environment preferred)
- Strong understanding of document control systems and processes
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 / BIM workflows (desirable)
- Experience using CDE platforms such as Viewpoint, Aconex, or similar
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
