Architect / Technologist
Morson Edge is working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy supporting a nationally significant UK energy infrastructure programme. Due to continued project demand, we are seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist to support the design and delivery of complex buildings within a highly regulated environment.
This role offers long-term involvement on a major infrastructure programme, with flexibility for candidates based closer to the Suffolk coast and potential site-based working as the project progresses.
The Role
You will contribute to the architectural and technical delivery of infrastructure and operational buildings, working across all project stages from concept through to detailed design. The role sits within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design team and requires strong Revit capability to support BIM-led design delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver architectural and technical design packages using Revit
- Work across all project stages, from concept through to detailed design
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to support integrated BIM delivery
- Lead or support defined work packages as required
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and project standards
- Contribute to design reviews, technical assurance, and approvals processes
- Support programme delivery by meeting agreed timescales and quality benchmarks
About You
- Architect or Architectural Technologist with experience in infrastructure, energy, nuclear, industrial, defence, or similarly regulated sectors
- Strong hands-on Revit experience within a BIM environment
- Comfortable working within structured governance and approval frameworks
- Technically strong, organised, and solutions-focused
- Confident collaborating within large, multi-disciplinary teams
Skills andamp; Experience
Essential
- Proven experience using Revit on complex projects
- Experience across multiple project stages (concept to detailed design)
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
Desirable
- Experience on energy, nuclear, power generation, or major infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated project environments
- Experience delivering large-scale or operational buildings
