Plater 15.00ph - 17.00phChesterfield12 Week Temporary - Permanent OpportunityMetalis is working with an engineering business with strong links throughout their industry, providing a range of comprehensive engineering solutions.Due to extensive growth, they are looking for Platers with medium to heavy bespoke fabrication experience to hit the ground running.Duties:Measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drillingTo interpret engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/weldedCarry out dimensional checkUse of press brakes, guillotines and other production machinery6mm - 60mm plate sizesEnsure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output Experience:Ideally the candidate will be apprentice trained or time served equivalentMust be experienced in MIG weldingExperienced with 6mm up to 60mm plate sizes and fillet weldsCompetent with press brake, saws, drills, grinders and other workshop machinerySalary and Hours: 15.00ph - 17.00phDays 8:30am - 5pm (Mon-Thu) and 8am - 1pm (Fri)Temporary - Permanent Opportunity
