Accounts Payable Manager Location: Coventry (Office Based) Salary: Competitive + Benefits An established and growing organisation within the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join its finance team in Coventry. This is a hands-on management role responsible for overseeing a busy purchase ledger and subcontractor payment function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong financial control across the business. Working closely with finance, commercial and operational teams, you will take ownership of supplier and subcontractor payments, CIS compliance, month-end processes and the ongoing development of accounts payable procedures and controls. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation of the purchase ledger and subcontractor payment function. Lead, support and develop a small accounts payable team. Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, credit notes and payment requests. Manage supplier payment runs and creditor reconciliations. Ensure compliance with CIS legislation and VAT Domestic Reverse Charge requirements. Review subcontractor applications, payment certificates and deduction calculations. Prepare and oversee monthly CIS returns. Support month-end close activities, reconciliations and financial reporting.
