We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Duties Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working order. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo, Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all safety protocols to minimise risks while driving and during loading/unloading processes. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid HGV licence. Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and logistics operations. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
