Interim EHS Manager (UK and Ireland)OverviewWe are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Interim EHS Manager to oversee Health, Safety and Environmental activities across multiple sites in the UK and Ireland.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving EHS strategy, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining management systems and promoting a strong safety-first culture across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with site leadership teams to embed best practice and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.Please note: this is an interim contract position only.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety and Environmental ComplianceEnsure compliance with all relevant UK and Irish Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.Maintain and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.Support external audits, inspections and certification processes.Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.EHS Leadership and CultureWork closely with site leadership teams to drive a positive EHS culture.Lead safety committees, site meetings and engagement initiatives.Promote behavioural safety and employee involvement across all locations.Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and standards.Risk Management and Incident InvestigationConduct risk assessments, PUWER assessments, COSHH evaluations and HAZOP reviews.Lead accident and incident investigations using recognised root cause ..... full job details .....
