Payroll Administrator - Temporary Contract

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a busy payroll team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to support the smooth running of payroll and pensions administration. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Supporting the day-to-day running of a busy payroll department.
• Working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure payroll and pension processes are completed accurately and on time.
• Processing and checking starter and leaver information for payroll.
• Preparing and distributing payroll documentation, including P45s and reports.
• Managing payroll-related emails and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensuring payroll records and documentation are accurate and maintained in line with relevant legislation and reporting requirements.
• Providing general payroll administration support as required.

• Previous experience in payroll administration.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets.
• The ability to remain calm and effective in a busy, fast-paced environment.
