Premier Work Support are currently working alongside their client based in Basildon who are looking for an enthusiastic and career-focused permanent Customer Service & Business Development Coordinator to join the growing team.

This role would suit someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys building relationships and supporting business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer quotations, following up on pricing opportunities, and maintaining communication with customers via email and telephone. They will also manage a shared mailbox, ensuring enquiries are allocated and actioned efficiently while delivering a high level of customer service.

In addition, the role will support management with identifying potential customer leads to help grow our client base. Responsibilities will include creating customer rate cards, maintaining client-specific spreadsheets, and assisting with various administrative and sales support activities.

Cross-training with other departments will be required to provide support during holiday periods and to develop a broader understanding of the business. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role.

Key skills required:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Organised with good attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and spreadsheets.
• Proactive approach with an interest in business development.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and looking to build a long-term career.
