You will take designs from budget stage through to operational handover, ensuring technical, commercial, and regulatory compliance while delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and review electricity infrastructure projects up to 33kVProduce compliant budget and detailed designsEnsure designs meet legislation, industry standards, adopting utility specs, and HSEQ requirementsDeliver designs on time and in line with commercial requirementsReview external designs and obtain IDNO/DNO approvalsProvide design support to Clients, Business Development, Technical, and Operations teamsSupport projects through to successful delivery and handoverMaintain strong stakeholder communication and customer serviceSkills and ExperienceElectrical design experience on DNO/IDNO networks and substations up to 33kVKnowledge of UK standards, ENA G81, NERS, CDM regulations, and utility adoption processesExperience with pre-construction and feasibility in the utilities sectorAbility to carry out Earthing designs and understand DNO diversion solutionsStrong commercial awareness and ability to meet timescalesProficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design softwareStrong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skillsTarget-driven, proactive, and customer-focusedPre
