Primary SEN Tutor
TeacherActive is seeking dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Tutors to support pupils across the Enfield area. This role is ideal for passionate education professionals who are committed to supporting primary-aged children with additional needs and helping them achieve positive educational outcomes.The Role ExpectationsAs a Primary SEN Tutor, you will be expected to: Deliver tailored learning sessions on a one-to-one or small-group basisSupport pupils with SEMH, ASD, and other SEND needsPlan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum (EYFS, KS1, KS2)Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles and emotional needsProvide tuition in a range of settings, including schools, community venues, and pupils homesWork independently and manage your own sessions effectivelyBuild positive, trusting relationships with pupils and their familiesMaintain a calm, supportive, and consistent approach to behaviour and learningCommunicate effectively with the Alternative Provision and relevant professionals Each referral is unique, and further role-specific details will be discussed at the next stage.
