Job Title: Painter & Decorator (Cyclical Works)
Location: Local Council Contracts
Salary: -35,500 per annum (-17.29 per hour) + Overtime + Weekly Bonus + Mileage Allowance

Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting experienced Painter & Decorators to work on cyclical maintenance contracts for a local council. The role involves both internal and external decoration works across residential blocks and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works to a professional standard
• Internal works including hallways, stairwells, and communal areas
• External painting works to residential buildings and blocks
• Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming
• Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timeframes
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
• Ideally hold relevant painting & decorating qualifications (e.g. NVQ or City & Guilds)
• Must have own tools and transport
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
