Are you a Communications and/or Marketing specialist looking for a new challenge?

Carrington West are currently recruiting for an experienced marketing and communications professional to support a busy client in London. 

We are looking for a person with a proven background in working for a local authority and familiar with the activity and responsibilities of a highways and transport function and the ability to develop and deliver multiple engagement, communications and publicity programmes simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a consistent and timely approach to Councillor, FOI and MP correspondence
• Ensures and works towards the agreed media protocol to maintain good local, regional and national media relations.
• Develop and maintain reputation by ensuring key messages are agreed, aligned and proactive campaigns are executed.
• Respond to resident enquiries that have been escalated, ensuring issues are directed to the appropriate internal or external teams and are resolved efficiently.
• Take ownership of the social media accounts, ensuring all content is aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and implement a monthly social media and communications plan, ensuring content is aligned with organisational priorities and objectives.
