Are you considering a future career in psychology, education, or youth work?A specialist Alternative Provision school in Thatcham is seeking a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to join their team full-time, starting immediately and continuing until July 2026. In this role, you will support students aged 11-18 with behavioural and mental health needs, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically throughout the school day.Key responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small group support within the classroom and during pastoral activitiesAssist teachers in managing challenging behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environmentSupport the development of social and emotional skills in pupilsAct as a positive role model, offering guidance and encouragementCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and psychologists to ensure effective support strategiesThis is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain hands-on experience working with young people who face behavioural and mental health challenges.
