I''m working with a fast-paced food manufacturing business looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to take ownership of its engineering function.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, leading from the front and building a team that can make a real difference.
The business has some significant projects on the horizon, so alongside keeping the site running, you''ll play a key role in improving engineering capability and delivering longer-term improvements.

What you''ll be doing:

• 
  Building, developing and leading a strong engineering team
• 
  Taking ownership of day-to-day maintenance across a busy manufacturing site
• 
  Improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
• 
  Driving preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
• 
  Supporting and delivering major engineering projects
• 
  Working closely with production to improve performance and keep the site moving
• 
  Developing a proactive, accountable engineering culture

What I''m looking for:

• 
  Experience in a Maintenance Manager or similar engineering leadership role within manufacturing
• 
  A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
• 
  Experience managing and developing engineering teams
• 
  Strong maintenance, reliability and problem-solving skills
• 
  The confidence to take ownership, challenge the status quo and drive improvements
• 
  Food manufacturing experience would be advantageous
