OverviewSUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time permanent basis, 37 hours per week.

Your main responsibilities

Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards

Be recognised as a point of contact for Supplier quality issues in the Purchasing Team

Manage Supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions

Coordinate Supplier Scorecard reviews and share best practice across the Purchasing Team

Work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, engineering, and production teams to address and resolve supplier-related quality issues

Monitor and improve supplier performance through data analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Ensure the Suppliers compliance to regulatory and quality requirements within the business

Evaluate and approve suppliers through audits, quality assessments, and performance reviews

Who we are looking for

Is a focused, pro-active, dynamic individual, intent on achieving objectives with a key focus on attention to detail

Has excellent people and communication skills with the ability to work with, influence and challenge appropriately all functions at multiple levels to gain trust and engagement

Has experience in problem solving and the use of tools and techniques

Has previous experience of working in a Quality or Engineering role

Is able to lead cross-functional meetings

Is able to work independently and as part of a wider team

Familiarity of Aerospace Industry standards / requirements - AS9100/AS13100

Knowledge of Customer Supplier requirements – RR: SABRe, PWA: ASQR01, GE: S-1000

Previous Audit Experience (QMS, Process, Product)

Working hoursDays – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday core hours 08:00-16:12

Remuneration and benefits

Staff Grade: 8 – 9

25 days annual leave (inclusive of 5 fixed days)
