Chief Executive We are seeking an experienced and values driven Chief Executive to lead Refugee Futures and drive inclusive impact across Stockton-on-Tees. Position: Chief Executive Salary: £42,000 to £46,000 per annum plus 5% pension Location: Stockton-on-Tees with some home working by agreement Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Condensed hours or part time considered, minimum 3 days per week Contract: Permanent following 6 month probation Responsible to: Board of Trustees, primarily the Chair About the Role This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape the future of Refugee Futures. You will lead a small but committed team of fewer than 10 staff, alongside volunteers, to implement the organisation s vision of a welcoming and inclusive borough where refugees and people seeking asylum can flourish. Key responsibilities include: Leading the implementation of the organisation s strategy Working closely with the Board to support strong governance and periodic strategy review Leading and developing staff and volunteers, ensuring supervision, appraisal and training Embedding and promoting an inclusive culture internally and externally Overseeing financial management, reporting, audit preparation and compliance Leading income generation including relationships with public sector commissioners, trusts and donors Monitoring impact, evidencing outcomes and maintaining reporting systems Developing strategic and operational partnerships across sectors Promoting Refugee Futures externally
