Accounts Assistant - Invoice and FundingPotters Bar, EN6 Hybrid Working 34 hour week 26,661 per annum (15.08 per hour) We''re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy team in Potters Bar. This isn''t just a data-entry accounts role. You''ll be responsible for checking invoices against agreed care plans and funding, identifying discrepancies and making sure the right amounts are being approved for payment. We''d particularly like to hear from you if you have experience in:Care, domiciliary care, healthcare or a care agency environment, particularly where you''ve dealt with carer or agency invoicesAccounts payable or finance administration involving high volumes of invoicesChecking invoices against budgets, agreed funding, purchase information or authorised spendIdentifying discrepancies and confidently investigating why figures don''t matchUsing Excel regularly to manage, check or reconcile financial informationYou don''t necessarily need to come from a traditional accounting background. If you''ve worked within care administration and have responsibility for checking agency invoices, hours, rates, funding or budgets, your experience could be highly relevant. What will you be doing?You''ll be responsible for checking and approving invoices, referring back to care plans and checking for changes such as additional hours, cancelled visits and bank holidays.
