Southern Water is recruiting a Mechanical Process Technician joining our Water Supply Team, to play a vital part in the frontline of our day-to-day maintenance of, and repairs to, Water Supply works, Reservoirs and Water Booster stations to ensure a constant supply of wholesome water to the customers, whilst meeting HandS legislation and achieving budgetary targets. As a Mechanical Process Technician, you will use your mechanical knowledge and experience to ensure that equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, generators, valves and pipework remain operational across the Southern Water region in the water function to ensure that it is operating efficiently and effectively. You will have the scope of opportunity to innovate and introduce solutions, to create continuous improvements into existing processes. This role requires occasional paid out of hours working and during on-call scheduling. Your responsibilities are to include: Fault finding, repair, installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical plant. Implemen
