Collections and Business Support Manager

The role reports into: Senior Collections and Legal Manager Role Overview: The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate are to: Review and proactively manage high-value exposures across the Group, ensuring risks are monitored and effective strategies are in place to protect the business. Confidently lead face-to-face meetings with customers, asking the right (and often challenging) questions to gain a full understanding of their position. Carry out detailed business reviews, clearly documenting findings and presenting well thought-through recommendations. Provide expert guidance across the business, including restructuring facilities and advising on the best course of action for transactions over 50k. Build strong relationships with external stakeholders such as recovery agents and other industry experts, working collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes. Manage relationships with external solicitors, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and successful case resolution. Requirements: Good negotiation and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong financial analysis skills 5+ years'' experience within financial services industry Financial industry expertise with a good in-depth knowledge of regulation and legal requirements.
