Site Installation Engineer

Location: Stoke-on-Trent & Birmingham areas(site-based and workshop-based)
Salary: Approximately £15 - £18 per hour (flexible depending on experience)
Hours: Full Time, Permanent

 

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Site Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves working on a variety of installation projects across the Birmingham and Stoke-on-Trent areas, including the installation of balconies, perimeter fencing, and rooftop walkways.

The successful candidate will be working both on customer sites and within our workshop when site work is not scheduled.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of balconies, perimeter fencing, and rooftop walkway systems.
  
  
• Reading and following installation drawings and specifications.
  
  
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  
  
• Travelling to customer sites across the Midlands region.
  
  
• Working closely with colleagues on installation projects.
  
  
• Collecting and transporting a second team member to site when required.
  
  
• Assisting within the workshop during quieter periods or when site work is unavailable.
  
  
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  
  

 

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
  
  
• Valid CSCS Card.
  
  
• Previous installation, construction, steelwork, engineering, or fencing experience preferred.
  
  
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  
  
• Comfortable working at height and on construction sites.
  
  
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
  
  
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  
  

 

Normal Workshop Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:45am - 4:15pm
  
  
• Friday: 7:45am - 3:15pm
  
  

 

Site Hours:

• Typically, 7:00am - 5:00pm (depending on project requirements).
  
  

When working on site, employees are paid from the point they leave home until they return home. When working within the workshop, normal clock-in and clock-out procedures apply.
