Operations AssistantWe are seeking a proactive and reliable Operations Assistant to support the Operations Manager and wider business. This varied role involves operational support, health and safety checks, administration, and working across departments and sites.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Operations Manager with HSQE systems, audits, and policiesEnsure business premises remain operationalCarry out HandS checks, alarm tests, meter readings, and contractor site inductionsMonitor suppliers and contractorsProcess purchase orders, parking tickets, and mobile phone requestsMaintain insurance records and recycling dataProvide ad-hoc administrative support to departments and the Warehouse ManagerWork between both offices as requiredAdhere to all health and safety policiesThe PersonMinimum 2 years'' administrative experience (training provided)Self-motivated, trustworthy, and detail-focusedStrong interpersonal and IT skillsTeam player able to work in a fast-paced environmentSalary and Benefits 25,000- 30,000 DOE (review after probation)Pension after 3 months23 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising to 25 after 5 years)Discretionary bonus, company sick pay, holiday buy/sell schemeHours37.5 hours per weekMon-Thurs: 09:00-17:30 Fri: 09:00-17:00Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
