OverviewThis is a standout opportunity to lead and grow two of our most important brands in the UK and Ireland: Elmlea, as we aim to double our Creams business, and ProActiv, our Better-For-You powerhouse. As a Senior Brand Manager, you’ll have full PandL ownership and be empowered to drive strategy across the full marketing mix (6Ps) — from insight-led communications to innovation, shopper activation and commercial alignment. You’ll report directly to the UK and Ireland Head of Marketing and lead a small but high-impact team, working closely with local and central functions across Sales, RGM, Category, Innovation and RandD. This is a career-defining role in a high-energy, high-accountability environment.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Growth:
Own and lead the UKI strategy and positioning for Elmlea and ProActiv, aligning with regional and global direction.
Marketing Planning:
Develop and deploy consumer-first growth plans across the 6Ps, based on insight and market trends.
Customer and Trade:
Build joint business plans and selling stories for grocery retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons.
Performance, Budget and Activation:
Deliver a robust AandP investment strategy, covering media, digital, shopper marketing and loyalty activations.
Measurement and Analytics:
Set and track clear KPIs for brand performance, with proactive actions to optimise results; use data to drive decision-making and establish scorecards that bring visibility across functions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Foster strong working relationships across Category, RGM, Sales, Innovation and RandD; ensure alignment across brand and customer initiatives to drive joint value creation.
People Leadership:
Inspire and support your direct report, providing clear goals, development and regular feedback; champion a high-performance culture.
