Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for an Ofsted regulated Childrens Home in Ilford.

Your main responsibilities will include the following:

• Comply with Safeguarding and Adult Protection procedures at all times
• Comply with the Health and Safety policies
• Ensure that the service meets the mandated training and compliance targets
• Leading by example ensure that the highest standards of person-centred care and support are delivered at all times
• Demonstrate evidence of quality assurance and best practice ensuring work practises/processes are managed effectively.
• Ensure that assessments, care/support planning and related documents are robust, effective and regularly reviewed.
• Inspire, motivate and develop an engaged workforce with a strong commitment to nurturing staff potential and developing skills through effective supervision and appraisal.
• Ensure that staff are effectively deployed to optimise service delivery considering resource allocation, skill mix and utilisation-
• Responsible for the day to day coordination, implementation and delivery of staff

For this role, we are looking for someone who holds -NVQ Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma and has experienced of leadership and management of a -an OFSTED registered children''s/young people''s service.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be flexible and able to work on a rota pattern which will include working outside of weekdays on occasions and sleep-ins.
