Applicants from experienced Care Team Leaders/SeniorSupport Workers holding an NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care,(or equivalent) would be an advantage. However, if you are adedicated Care Assistant or Carer with a solid track record, andthe ambition to progress - Lifeways can offer you excellenttraining and ongoing development for you to enjoy a rewardingcareer with us.As Team Leader you will lead andmotivate a team of support workers ensuring that excellentperson-centred care and support is delivered to people supported byLifeways to enable them to live a fulfilling and independentlife.You will be involved in the recruitmentof, and the ongoing development of support workers by carrying outstaff supervisions, candidate interviews and providing generalguidance and expertise. You will possess excellent communicationskills to communicate effectively with staff, people we support andoutside professionals. In addition, good written communication andIT skills for record keeping.The people wesupport suffer from learning difficulties, autism, challengingbehaviours and some mobility issues there manual handling would berequired. We a looking for energetic, hard working individuals whoalso have a good sense of humour and patience.
