You''ll be responsible for preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff, while maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen.The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a school environment and is confident catering for children and young people with a range of additional needs.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff.Follow agreed menus, dietary requirements and food safety procedures.Cater for pupils with allergies and specific dietary needs.Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food preparation.Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and fully stocked.Manage food preparation and service independently.Follow HACCP and school food safety procedures.Work closely with school staff to ensure meals are prepared and served on time.What We''re Looking For:Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef, ideally within a school, care or similar setting.Good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.Experience preparing meals for children or young people is desirable.Awareness of allergies and special dietary requirements.Reliable, organised and able to work ..... full job details .....
