Senior Gas and Power Software Engineer - Commodity Trading - London - 850/day inside IR35

Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities firm seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Gas and Power and E/CTRM experience to join their growing cross-functional technology team. This is a long-term opportunity that''ll see you focus on enhancing and improving their Front and Middle Office technology.

You''ll work with the technology team to evolve enterprise architecture, analyse and enhance systems and contribute to the delivery of the overall landscape. My client is about to undergo a complete greenfield ETRM implementation, too.

Experience required:

Extensive experience in a commodities trading environment with hands-on ETRM experience

Strong C# and SQL skills

Recent experience with EU Gas and Power is essential

Must be able to work with cross-functional teams

Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus

Ideally, you''ll have experience with system configuration

Prior experience working in the Front Office
