As an Actuarial Graduate in Wealth Solutions: Retirement, you will work on a range of client teams, providing advice to trustees or sponsoring companies on defined benefit pension schemes. The role focuses on developing technical and consulting skills, with progression towards becoming a trusted advisor for clients.Regular assessment of the financial position of pension schemesIdentify and implement ways to reduce risks for trustees and companies (longevity, investment, inflation)Carry out pension scheme calculations for company financial accounts and for individual members’ benefitsEstimate Pension Protection Fund leviesDay-to-day management of the pension scheme and internal projectsBuild and manage relationships with clients and stakeholdersAttend and present at client meetingsYou may work on a range of projects and be involved with specialist teams in areas such as Risk Settlement, Member Options, and Demographic Horizons.Risk Settlement: advise on transferring risk to a third partyMember Options: help clients reshape benefits to suit individualsAnalysis of mortality and demographic factors for future trendsDevelopment and Qualifications

You will be enrolled on Aon’s Launch Programme on joining, built around:Business learning on the job to understand your team and solution lineCentralised learning: induction, monthly webinars, business skills training, workshopsProfessional Qualifications: aim to achieve a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, with paid study leave and materialsCareer progression after the graduate programme includes ongoing training and opportunities to advance from Graduate Analyst to Associate Consultant, Consultant, and beyond. You may specialise in advising trustee clients or corporate pension scheme sponsors, with opportunities to join specialist teams.Entry Requirements

On track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a maths, actuarial science, or other numerical degreeA-grade or higher in Maths A-level or equivalentPractical skills in Python, SQL, VBA, or cloud platformsPermanent contracts from day one. UK right to work required for the duration of employment. Visa/settlement considerations may apply as appropriate.What We Are Looking For
