Higher Level Learning Support Assistant - Chelsea

We are working with a prestigious secondary school in Chelsea who are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Learning Support Assistant (HLLSA) to join their team immediately.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting Year 7 transition, helping students settle into secondary school and providing targeted academic and pastoral support.

The role includes:

• Supporting students transitioning into Year 7

• Providing 1:1 and small-group learning support

• Supporting students with organisation, confidence and engagement

• Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff and the SEN team

• Monitoring student progress and supporting interventions

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an HLTA, Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant

• Secondary school experience

• Experience supporting Year 7 students or transition

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, patient and supportive approach
