Part-Time Accounts AssistantLocation: Witham Working Pattern: 2 days per week Salary: 15 per hour Start Date: March 2026 Potential to increase hours over timeThis is a temporary role initially with the potential to become permanent.About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in accounts or finance administration who enjoys working within a small, supportive team.You will be responsible for a variety of finance tasks including credit control, sales ledger support, invoice processing and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, and able to manage their workload effectively over two dedicated working days.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct credit control activities, including chasing overdue accountsSupport sales ledger management, including raising invoices and allocating paymentsMonitor and manage finance mailboxes, ensuring emails are prioritised and actioned promptlySet up bank paymentsMatch purchase orders to delivery notesMatch fuel receipts to invoicesProcess credit notesComplete bulk processing tasksIdentify and follow up on missing invoicesManage petty cashSend customer statementsProvide general administrative support to the Finance team as requiredSystems UsedMS OfficeSagePaperlessAbout YouWe are looking for someone who has:Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance administration roleStr
