Are you a patient, caring, and dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)£ A specialist school in Gerrards Cross is seeking an enthusiastic PMLD TA to join their team from January 2026. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to pupils with PMLD, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met
• Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility where required
• Support teachers in delivering sensory-based and therapeutic learning activities
• Use communication aids and strategies to engage pupils effectively
• Work closely with therapists and other professionals to implement care and learning plans

Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with PMLD, complex needs, or in a specialist SEND setting
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a positive attitude
• Committed to inclusive education and safeguarding practices
• Ability to use Makaton, PECS, or other communication systems (desirable)
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
