Support WorkerLocation: ChelmsfordHours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pmSalary: Competitive Daily Rate / Depending on ExperienceStart Date: ASAP / September Start AvailableSupport Worker- Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist SEN provision in Chelmsford, supporting children and young people aged 8-16 with Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve positive educational, emotional and social outcomes within a structured, safe and nurturing environment.Support Worker-Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN including ASD, ADHD and autism.Support students with emotional regulation, communication and social interaction.Assist students both inside and outside of the classroom to encourage engagement and participation.Implement behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques where required.Support teachers and SEN staff with classroom activities and differentiated learning.Build positive and trusting relationships with students to promote confidence, wellbeing and independence.Monitor student progress, behaviour and wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.Support safeguarding procedures and follow all school policies and guidelines.Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, pastoral staff and parents/carers.Promo
