They currently have a vacancy open for a-Structural Engineer-who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK.-This role will be based at their Manchester office, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As a-Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of Structural services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

• Perform site inspections and evaluate existing structures to determine the need for repairs or replacements.
• Design new structures or modify existing ones, following relevant design codes and standards.
• Prepare comprehensive structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of structural designs into wider projects.
• Engage in design reviews, project meetings, and visit construction sites as needed.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• Experienced in AutoCAD and Revit.
• A relevant degree/apprenticeship and working experience.
• Must be willing to travel for site visits and client meetings.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards chartership.

This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
