What you''ll be doing: You will conduct radiological safety assessments and evaluate radiation damage risks to onboard electronics. Your role involves developing radiation detection systems and managing the systems engineering design of secondary shielding. Utilising point kernel and Monte Carlo calculations, you will support radiation transport modelling and provide technical guidance on design changes or defects to maintain safety standards. Additionally, you will develop ALARP justifications to support engineering decisions , ensuring all radiological risks are minimised to compliant and acceptable levels.
